 The circle in the centre of the Schwalm embroidery design represents the sun. Tulips radiate dancing from the sun. Three different cut fillings are used in this Schwalm design. This design pictured is 19.5 cm (7 ¾ inches). 

Pomegranate Love
Pomegranates featuring  a cut/pulled side area with buttonhole circles in the centre. Sunbursts and leaves come out from a heart. Three different cut fillings are used in this Schwalm design. This design without the border is 9.5 cm (3 1/2 inches). This design with the border is 16.5 cm (6 1/2 inches). Step by step instructions and diagrams are given. 

Birds on Urn
In this Schwalm needlework design a small 'tree of life' is depicted. E.g. The urn we grow from... with love from the heart..... we grow; shown by the leaves.... the birds of peace. Three different cut fillings are used in this Schwalm design. This design pictured is 14 x 16 cm (5 1/2 x  6 1/4 inches). 


Family Circle
A family of birds set among flowers celebrating their love with hearts. Three different cut fillings are used in this Schwalm design. This design pictured is 19.5 cm (7 ¾ inches).
