This Galaxy dish was a collaboration…. Colin Mitchell turned the bowl and myself Janet did the embellished hand felting for the top. After doing the needle felting I added hand stitched trees and stars. The rim of the bowl was turned with a slight inner recess so the felting edge is in line with the wood edge. 18cm wide, New Zealand Native Rimu wood. New Zealand wool was used for the felting.
