- Dear Janet of JMD DESIGNS,  My Daughter has kindly given me your lovely book of "Blackwork" designs for my 74th birthday.  As we get older , it is sometimes harder to be inspired by new things, but you have hit the nail on the head for me.  Your book arrived yesterday so this morning I have sat down with my coffee and read your chapter from front to back and I am loving your ideas........ I can't wait to get to the local fabric shop for suitable material and get started.  So thank you for your inspiration, keep up with your ideas and I'm sure you will inspire many other needle workers old or young with your lovely books.
