Quilted Feather and Flower Pot Mats

Each pot mat is 21cm (8 inches) wide. Hand
quilted traditional quilting design design.
The quilting was done using 2 strands of 6 stranded embroidery cotton. The edges
of the mats have hand made binding.
If you want to use the heat retardant wadding it is not
easy to quilt through. I suggest a layer or regular batting with a layer of thin
cotton fabric batting and then quilt the design. Then on the back add a layer of
the heat retardant batting and then your actual cotton fabric backing. So the
quilting stitches will only show on the front of the mat.
