Here you can learn the basics of the lacy edge sometimes done on hardanger mats. Blackwork stitching is done to make lovely pink daises and tendrils. Beads are sewn in the intersections of kloster blocks to bring the design alive.
The instructions have been written as if you have had experience with Hardanger kloster blocks already. Instructions otherwise are very detailed with photos, and graphs etc. A shopping list of fabric and threads etc are given. All fabric and threads are easily found internationally. All instructions include metric and imperial measurements.
There are an extra 3 designs to choose from that are variations to the main design in the photo here. Design size of above design on 25 count fabric is 22cm (8 ½ inches). 3 extra full sized designs included besides the main design. All prices are in New Zealand dollars. See the exchange rate here
