Easy traditional needlework stitches have been used in this Whitework design which is similar to the Mountmellick style of hand embroidery. The design can be used on top of a cushion, framed on the wall and used to adorn runners or dollies. It can be inserted in a quilt block or the appliqued onto a bag etc...
All instructions include metric and imperial measurements. All fabric and threads listed are found easily internationally. There is a full comprehensive stitch glossary and comprehensive stitching instructions for the design above only. Instructions suitable for those new to this style of embroidery but have had some experience with a needle and thread before. Instructions for the stitched piece alone.
Also included is a straight edge border design and a sprig
design to compliment the design above.
