Here you can learn the basics of the Hardanger Lacy edge sometimes done on hardanger mats; also shown is the suspended beads in open areas. Beads are also sewn in the intersections of Kloster blocks to bring the design alive.
The instructions have been written as if you have had experience with Hardanger kloster blocks already. Instructions otherwise are very detailed with photos, graphs etc. A shopping list of fabric and threads etc are given. All fabric and threads are easily found internationally. All instructions include metric and imperial measurements.
Design size of above design on 25 count fabric is 18 x 14cm (7 x 5 ½ inches). All fabric and threads are easily internationally available.
