This piece was a collaboration…. Colin Mitchell turned the platter and myself Janet did the embellished hand felting for the top. After doing the needle felting I added hand stitching, glass beads and metallic and silk stitching. The wood warped a bit after turning but it still sits flat on a surface and still very usable. 22cm wide, New Zealand Native Rimu wood. New Zealand wool was used for the felting.
