traditional Mountmellick embroidery stitches have been used in this lovely
design of Daffodils and Snowdrops from Ireland. This design could be used on
top of a cushion or framed on the wall etc.
This style of Needlework was also used to adorn bed quilts
and dollies. Stitched squares could be used as quilt blocks, Or the design
stitched piece could be appliquéd onto a bag or similar patchwork item. Also
this style is sturdy enough to stitch on jackets, waistcoats and pockets
etc.
The design size 18 x 20cm (7 x
8 inches).
All instructions include metric and imperial
measurements.
