Celtic Summer
In this Hardanger Celtic entwined design I
have used Anchor Variegated Multi Pearl thread with green and yellow shades
to reflect summer. It is stitched on a pale yellow even weave linen fabric.
Here you can learn how to stitch suspended beads in open areas. Green
Eyelets are stitched in the intersections of Kloster blocks to bring the
design alive. The size of the above design shown in the photo on 28 count
fabric is 27cm (10 1/2 inches) square.
These individual Hardanger designs
can be used for many things: mats, covers, wall hangings or extended to make
a border on a table cloth or cushion. All 3 designs shown are included.
All instructions include metric and imperial
measurements.
The instructions have been written as if you have had experience with
Hardanger kloster blocks and weaving already.
Otherwise full instructions and diagrams etc are given. A full shopping list
for fabric threads etc is given.
