The structure of Janet's Printed books
All books are written for the person who may never have stitched that
particular style of embroidery before. Even if
you're stitching has never gone beyond Cross Stitch you will find step by
step instructions in what fabric and thread to
use, through to the stitching itself.
We all learn in different ways, some by reading, some by looking. So the
Stitch Glossaries have stitch drawn diagrams along with step by step written
instructions.
Embroidery through the centuries has
been about experimentation, so fabric and thread
suggestions beyond the traditional, as well as the traditional aspects have
been given.
Each book is A4 (8 x 11 1/2") in size.
Coil binding has been used on the book spines, so when snuggled in your
favourite chair you can easily keep open the book on your knee while
stitching. No having to juggle the book to keep it open on the page you
need. The covers have colour photos of the main projects
and the contents of the books are printed in black and white.
